Piss For Peace

In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced him to do an interview. 38 years later, Levitan, director Josh Raskin and illustrator James Braithwaite have collaborated to create an animated short film using the original interview recording as the soundtrack. A spellbinding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit and timeless message, I Met the Walrus was nominated for the 2008 Academy Award for Animated Short.

All My Friends

My oldest brother, Adam had music in his soul.

His voice was the strongest voice I've ever heard. Music was everything to him!

I remember he said to me once his mate Alex was like his musical soul mate.

They played music together in bands for many many years when they were young. Adam always thought it was going to be he & Alex that made it together in music.

I feel in some way... Adam lives on in some small way through Alex.

Alex is a brilliant musician... it's something that he has no choice in... it's just part of his every pore of being.

Cherry Blossom Delights

Now is my favourite time of year. It's the time when our pink blossom tree is blooming out the front of our house.

This is my house.

I love my little beautiful cottage. It's my favourite place in the world.

Sadly the council came along earlier in the year and chopped up our beautiful blossom tree to half it's former stunning glory. I look at it now and it's looks a little like a sad shell of a tree that once was!

I'm still thankful it's there and enjoy every day of the time blossoming cause I know the sweet flowers will only be here for the shortest time.

Mother Nature... you inspire and delight me!
